Nitrile (Buna N) sheet rubber, also called nitrile butadiene rubber, NBR or acrylonitrile butadiene rubber and is one of our most popular materials. It’s a great choice for gasket applications where oil is involved and our Premium Nitrile performs where petroleum based fluids like gasoline, jet fuel and diesel need to be contained. It’s an excellent choice for sealing petroleum and offers unusually high resistance to oils, fuels and other chemicals.
