FDA Approved White Nitrile (Buna-N) Rubber – Food Grade

White FDA Approved Nitrile (Buna-N) is a premium grade material that is extensively used in food processing and pharmaceutical environments. Made from FDA-approved ingredients, White Nitrile, or NBR Rubber, handles grease and oils well and exhibits good abrasion resistance.  Buna-N is often used in cosmetics and various medical applications. White Nitrile is not suitable for weathering and ozone applications.

FDA Grade White Nitrile (NBR Rubber) is widely used for making gaskets, O-rings, seals, and custom molded parts for food and pharmaceutical processing.  It offers a wide operating  temperature range and resists vegetable oils, greases, petroleum-based oils, acids, some chemicals and other fluids.  It’s superior white color make it desirable for the medical industry. It is intended for repeated food exposure and offers a long life expectancy.
