FDA Grade Sheet Rubber




UIP offers FDA Approved/Food Grade Rubber Sheeting and gasket material for food processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing.  Food grade rubbers are available in White EPDM, Nitrile, Silicone and Neoprene.  These food grade white rubbers, made from FDA Approved ingredients, are also non-marking, making them a great choice for many marine applications as well.  These FDA approved rubbers can be used in wet or dry applications and the smooth surface allows for easy cleaning. They are also non-toxic and non-marking.

All our FDA Approved sheet rubber has been manufactured to fully conform to FDA standards 21 CFR 177.2600, ensuring that all FDA Grade rubber is safe for use in food contact applications and will not impart taste, odor, or color.

FOOD GRADE SHEET RUBBER

o White FDA Grade Nitrile Rubber
Premium-grade FDA approved White Nitrile (Buna-N)  is safe for food and beverage applications.  It offers a wide operating temperature range  as well as excellent resistance to oil, fat and grease deterioration. This makes white Nitrile a great option for a variety of food preparation and packaging applications.

o White FDA Grade Neoprene Rubber
FDA grade Neoprene is a high-grade material that is highly resistant to water and the build-up of mold.  It also offers excellent resistance to high temperatures, oil and common chemicals. It is intended for repeated food exposure.

o White FDA Grade EPDM Rubber
FDA approved white EPDM rubber is commonly used for general gaskets commonly used in food processing operations. EPDM is also great for outdoor environments. This rubber offers excellent resistance to ozone, oxidants and severe weather conditions.

o Tan Pure Gum Natural Rubber
Tan Pure Gum Rubber is a cost effective FDA approved material that offers excellent tear and abrasion resistance. It is often used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and industrial plants where FDA grade materials are required.

o White FDA Grade Silicone
FDA Grade White Silicone Sheeting is a high quality material with excellent physical properties and does not discolor over time. It is non-toxic and is an outstanding choice for gaskets and seals as it offers excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light chemical and offers a low compression set.
