EPDM Sheet Rubber – Sheet Type 85 – Peroxide Cured

Our high-performing rubber elastomer, peroxide-cured EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), is one of the most commonly used elastomers for seals and gaskets because of its excellent resistance to weather, ozone and UV rays.  EPDM is most commonly used in applications where there is significant environmental exposure such as in the automotive and marine industries.  EPDM is also good for chemical-based fluids such as anti-freeze, synthetic detergents, acetone, boric acid, ethanol, formaldehyde, and silver nitrate.  EPDM should not be used in petroleum-based applications.

This common rubber is very good at resisting the degrading effects of outdoor elements including varying high and low temperatures, making it ideal for insulating heat and electricity.

EPDM is sold by the full roll, cut piece or strip. We cam also custom fabricate gaskets and seals to your specifications.
