PTFE Lined Expansion Joints

Solid PTFE and PTFE-lined expansion joints are used when other materials aren’t appropriate. They are designed for environmentally corrosive applications and are often used in chemical plants and water treatment plants.
PTFE is a synthetic fluoropolymer which finds numerous applications due to its non-stick nature and resistance to certain chemicals.
Many options are available on our PTFE solid molded and PTFE lined joints.  Elastomeric coverings can be added for environmentally corrosive applications.  A Kevlar® reinforcement overlay can be used to increase working pressures and provide additional safety factors for PTFE Expansion Joints.
NOTE: PTFE is used in joint sizes 2″-12″ I.D.  In sizes 14″-96″, FEP is used.
